ARTEP DESIGN: Architecture and jewellery
Io sono Petra Seregni e sono architetto.
La passione per il disegno e la progettazione mi hanno sempre caratterizzato e si sono strutturate al Liceo Artistico prima e al Politecnico di Milano poi. Inizio a creare gioielli ancora adolescente: i primi modelli risalgono al 1998.
Svolgo la professione di architetto dal 2007 in collaborazione con Sering srl, una società di Ingegneria con sede a nord di Milano e con lo studio Sandali di Interiors.
Nel 2013 una nuova occasione mi porta all’estero offrendomi la possibilità di cambiare prospettiva e di tornare a dedicare parte della mia attività alla realizzazione di gioielli.
Petra Seregni è Artep.
Artep Design nasce dalla necessità di coniugare la creatività e la professionalità in diversi ambiti, dall’architettura al design e all’handmade, sotto un unico concetto a rispecchiare un’unica poliedrica personalità.
Artep Jewellery è il brand che identifica la mia attività di ideazione e produzione artigianale di gioielli.

Nella sezione architecture del sito raccolgo i progetti cui ho lavorato in questi anni di attività professionale.
Comporre volumi e materiali, ideare nuove forme e spazi, dal piccolo oggetto al complesso di edifici sono per me attitudini innate, che si traducono naturalmente nel disegno.
Nella sezione jewellery presento la mia collezione di anelli creati con metalli come il rame, l'argento, il bronzo e il similoro insieme a pietre semipreziose avvalendomi di tecniche di forgiatura e wire wrapping.
Molti modelli sono regolabili per poter essere sperimentati su ogni dito e diventare un regalo senza errori.
Da buona progettista adoro unire stile e utilità in ciò che creo!

My name is Petra Seregni and I am an architect.
Drawing and designing have been my main passions since ever. These passions took form during the high school, and after that at the Art Institute Umberto Boccioni in Milan, where I created my first jewellery in 1998.
I am an architect since 2007 and I have been in practice with Sering srl, an engineering company in the north Milan, and with Sandali Studio for Interior design.
In 2013 I got the opportunity to move abroad and enlarge my vision, bringing me back to the creation of jewellery.
Petra Seregni is Artep.
Artep Design has been founded to combine my creativity and my competences through a variety of subjects, such as architecture, design and jewellery, as a unique concept which reflects a unique and versatile personality.
Artep Jewellery is the brand which identifies my creation and handmade productions of jewellery.

Within the architecture area of the website, I show the professional experience which I obtained over the last years.
Designing volumes, mixing materials, creating new spaces, from little scale objects up to building complexes, is a natural attitude for me.
Within the Jewellery section of the website you will find my collection of handmade rings, made of metals like copper, bronze, silver, bronze and gold-bronze, together with semiprecious stones, and for which I use the wire wrapping or the forging technique.
Most of the rings are adjustable, meaning that there are no size issues and that you can experience the ring without limits. As a designer I love to combine style and functionality within my creations.
