Fish collection

Fish collection naviga ormai da un pò tra le mie creazioni, è stata la prima forma che mi è venuta in mente provando ad approcciare l'idea di una collana con pendente e poi è diventata girocollo, orecchino, braccialetto ed ora anche spilla e anello. Una forma che fa molto estate e porta un tocco di luce nelle giornate invernali.

Come spesso mi succede anche questo nuovo componente della collezione è stato frutto di una richiesta...ed è poi entrato a pieno titolo tra i gioielli Fish. I primi modelli nascono sempre in rame e poi partono altre tantissime versioni. Di recente ho lavorato molto sulla struttura in rame patinato del pesce, quindi scura, su cui far risaltare la tessitura di filo, perline e filo forgiato. Ogni pesce è unico, non esiste una forma ma soprattutto una codina uguale all'altra!

Fish collection is one of Artep jewellery's best-seller. It was the very first shape that came up into my mind when designing the first pendant and step by step a collar necklace, the earrings,the bracelet and now also the pin and the ring joined the collection. It is a funny simple shape, perfect on the summer mood that can bring a touch of light during winter time.

It happens very often that a new creation comes from a project on demand and then become part of the cllection. The first prototype is always a copper one, then I go with many other materials and combinations. I've recently worked on a copper with patina version on the new fish structures, the dark outline stands out the beads colours and the wires woven on the fish.

Each piece is one of a kind, there are no shapes and surely nor tails which can be the same!
